AT&T Long Lines : Microwave telecom tower network

Hi!! This page is dedicated to the AT&T long lines, which was a network of microwave transmission towers that served as the backbone for telephone communications and terrestrial TV broadcasting for several decades. Many of the sites are hardened against a nuclear blast, since they were built during the cold war. The transmission equipment is really interesting because the microwave signal is send through a wave-guide tube up to the microwave antennas. Sadly I have not seen any intact microwave transmission equipment yet ;-; nor have I been inside one of the super cool buildings they would be housed in :( but soon hopefully I will be able to!!! anyway here i will share some pics and stories about the towers/sites I have seen :3
